Frequently Asked Questions
How does virtual labor support actually work during contractions?
Great question! When labor starts, you text or call Rosy. She joins you via video call (FaceTime, Zoom, or phone). She watches your contractions, guides you through positions, coaches your partner on how to apply counter-pressure, helps you decide when to go to the hospital, and talks you through each stage. If you're in the hospital, she stays on the call, nurses and doctors are used to families using video support now. You're never alone.
What if my labor is really fast and I don't have time to call?
Rosy is on-call 24/7 starting at 38 weeks. That means she's ready to answer ANY time, day or night. Even if your labor is fast, she can guide your partner through supporting you. And honestly, most labors aren't as fast as you think, there's time to connect.
Can my hospital allow phones/video during labor?
Yes! Most hospitals allow phones and video calls during labor. Rosy's support doesn't interfere with medical staff, she's coaching YOU and your partner, not directing your care. If your hospital has specific policies, Rosy will work within them.
What if I lose signal or my phone dies?
We plan for this! Rosy will have your partner's number as a backup. If video drops, she switches to phone. If your phone dies, your partner calls. We build redundancy into the plan so you're never without support.
Can I upgrade my package later if I change my mind?
Absolutely! You can upgrade anytime before labor. We'll credit what you've already paid toward the higher package. No penalties, no hassle.
Does Rosy support all types of births? (Unmedicated, epidural, C-section, VBAC, etc.)
YES. Rosy supports YOUR birth, whatever that looks like. She's been present for unmedicated, epidural, planned C-sections, VBACs, home births, hospital births, birth center births. She doesn't push an agenda. She supports YOU.
